Agnew Lake Lodge is located in a prime wild life area. Its 50.000 acre BMA offers great bear hunting. We bait approx. 25 well maintained hunting stations with various range and challenge. Most are suitable for as well bow or muzzle loaders, as for gun hunting. The biggest number of stands are boat aces only which guarantees privacy and tranquility.

We start baiting mid April for the spring hunt, and mid June for the fall hunt so when the hunting season starts , all stands are visited by one or more bears. Wild life camera's give us an idea of what kind of bears are hitting the baits. VIEW MAP

Canadian gun laws are pretty strict, so make sure you are well informed, last minute surprises don't help a successful hunt. Links to MNR sites with info about bringing your gun into Canada, exporting game etc. can be found on our LINKS page. A responsible attitude while hunting bear helps keeping the population at par, avoid shooting immature animals or a sau with cubs.

Most outfitters will usually provide various packages; this often includes accommodation, baited hunting stations, guiding etc., also help with the licenses and other paperwork should be included. For information on Agnew Lake Lodge bear hunt package, visit the RATES page.
